You can have all the qualifications and experience in the world, but still feel inadequate and insecure in your ability to make a contribution in your workplace.
Our internal monologue will say things like:

Once I get complete this training… I will feel ready… Once I am promoted to this level… It will all be fine.

This tendency to brush off, dismiss and diminish obvious evidence of our abilities is called imposter syndrome.

In today’s episode I am sharing all about imposter syndrome, how it can show up and manifest in your life, how it has shown up in myself and continues to… and how you can manage it for a success career and happy life.

I address the five ways that imposter syndrome can manifest:
– The Perfectionist
– The Superwoman / Superman
– The Natural Genius
– The Soloist
– The Expert

You can learn more about these categories in Dr Valerie Young’s book – The Secret Thoughts of Successful Women: Why Capable People Suffer from the Impostor Syndrome and How to Thrive in Spite of It
I also recommend reading ‘Mindset: The New Psychology of Success’ by Carol Dweck.
